BANJO #150

BANJO #150

After 10 years of making banjos as a hobby, Greg Galbreath decided to follow his passion and officially started making banjos under the Buckeye Banjos name in 2006. Since then he has made over 150 custom banjos for musicians all over the world. He lives on a 12 acre homestead at the base of Buckeye Mountain in Southwest Virginia with his wife Cindy, two dogs, two cats, and a bunch of chickens.

Shown here is an 11" Cherry with a rolled Brass tone ring, thin deep rim and a skin head. Dubbed the "Garden Banjo", it features numerous engraved vegetables on the fretboard, hops on the peg head, a chicken on the heel, and many earthworms around the rim cap.
